Another day, another craft for your kids! This one was super easy and lots of fun. Both Rebecca and I made our own Shamrock Man. The one thing that I truly love about doing crafts with the kids that I nanny for, is the fun we have while doing them. This craft is appropriate for all ages. I am not a talented shamrock drawer so I did cheat the system by printing out some templates to use to cut out and use to trace onto the paper. One thing that I will note is that we used a foam paper because it was available to us in the craft room. This was fun to use, but it is not needed and construction paper can be used. Also if you want to take things up a notch and have googly eyes, those can be added instead of drawing the eyes. I am going to list the supplies, steps, the pictures that I took along the way below. I hope that you enjoy this St. Patrick’s Day themed craft! Happy crafting!

Supplies:
- Green Construction Paper (we used foam paper)
- White Construction Paper cut into 4 strips of the same width and length
- Scissors
- Tape or glue (we used tape)
- Pencil for the tracing
- Shamrock Templates
- Black Marker (we used a sharpie)
Steps:
- Print out the Templates from the above links if using to make Shamrocks. Cut out the big Shamrock with out cutting the stem. One the small Shamrocks, cut out the stem as well
- Place the Templates on the paper and trace, you will need 4 small Shamrocks traced out
- Once traced, take scissors and cut out all of the Shamrocks
- With marker draw whatever face you would like to have on the big Shamrock
- Take 4 strips of white paper and accordion fold them back and forth. This will give them a spring like look
- Tap or glue the small Shamrocks on one end of each of the 4 strips.
- Tape or glue the arms and legs on the back part of the big Shamrock
- Find a cute place in the house to tape your Shamrock Man to decorate for St. Patrick’s Day.
- If you want to you could make a hole at the top and use a string to hang your Shamrock Man as well
