One of the major things that I love about Fall is the outfit options. The main staple of my Fall wardrobe is… you guessed it, the flannel! Flannels have been around for ages and even though they may have been mainly worn by males in the past, times have changed. There are so many different colors in flannels. The classic colors and now you can fine pink and purple and many other bright colored flannels.
Along with the colors, the styles of flannels are very widespread. You can go with the classic cut, a longer length, a tunic cut, a tight fit, or even a crop style.
Not to mention that in the past couple years we now have the Shacket. If you are not aware of what this is, it is a shirt jacket. I have to say that I just purchased this one, in a flannel form and I am obsessed with it!
I hate to admit it but Flannel season is going to be short for us here in Pittsburgh. The temperature is changing at a fast pace here and unfortunately we will be putting on the winter jackets, scarves, hats, and gloves. This makes me sad because Fall is my favorite season and it has definitely been cut short this year as far as the temperatures go.
