A Look Into My Phone Apps: Entertainment

Next up as we take a look into my phone, the Entertainment folder. In this section are all the Apps that I love to use to watch videos, T.V. shows, and movies on. So, sit back and enjoy the list of Apps that help me to unwind after work and on the Weekends.

  • CBS All Access: The main reason that I ended up getting this App is because I jumped on the train of cancelling cable. The main thing that I miss about cable is the DVR. I do have a basic digital antenna but I am never home for the prime time shows when they are live. I need to stay up to day with my Big Brother and Love Island all! This App is also great because they have a bunch shows with all the seasons available! The one show that I am into that binge watching on this App is, The Good Fight.
  • Disney+: I have to say that there was no hesitation in subscribing to this streaming service! I love being able to have all the Disney shows and movies that I grew up watching. Along with all the treasured movies there are also a vast amount of newer movies as well. If you are a Super Hero or Star Wars fan, then this is the service for you because that is all right at your fingertips.
  • EventBrite: This App is in the Entertainment folder because I use it for when I am purchasing tickets to events. I have used this for buying musical tickets for my township’s high-school. There are different events that are happening in the area that you live and it is a neat App to have on hand!
  • Fandango: When going to the movies was a thing before Covid times, this was the easiest way for me to purchase the tickets to the movies that we wanted to see. You can purchase the tickets right on your phone and get them scanned at the theater. I loved the fact that it would
  • HBO Max: I will not lie I am such a die hard Friends fan that I was fast to subscribe to this service. I have enjoyed a lot of HBO original shows, and I am loving the movie selection.
  • Hulu: Having this App is great for the show and movie choice. I also love that it has some of the Prime Time shows that I enjoy on there as well. I am very into The Masked Singer and Dancing with the Stars.
  • Netflix: Again this is an App that has amazing original movies and shows. They also have some great classic movies on there that bring me back to when I was younger.
  • Amazon Prime: This app comes with my Amazon Prime subscription, I don’t use this subscription service as much as the others. They do have some great originals as well.
  • Redbox: This App is great for when I want to see what DVD’s are in the different Redbox locations. You can also use this App on your Firestick and Roku to rent movies right to your devices.

Second Page:

  • Roku: I have this App because I have a couple Roku Devices hooked up to some of my T.V’s. I do not really use this App.
  • Sling T.V.: Since I got rid of cable I have been using this subscription and I love it because it has all of the channels that I would normally watch for a major fraction of the price. You are able to search up different shows to be able to watch past seasons as well as the most recent.
  • Tubi: This is a recent App download that I have not fully gotten to explore yet.
  • VRV: I use this App to be able to watch older Nickelodeon shows that I watched as a kid growing up.
  • WeTV: I has this App because I like to be able to watch some of the bonus clips from some of my favorite shows on this Network.
  • YouTube: I love to subscribe to a wide range of people from fitness work outs, couponers, bloggers, and more.

I hope that you enjoyed the reading this post and feel free to drop comments on what you are using and would recommend!
