If you are like me then cleaning the bathrooms can fall pretty close to the bottom of your chores you like to do! I am a fan of cleaning, weird I know! But, the least favorite room in the house for me to clean is the bathroom. Speaking of bathroom cleaning, my upstairs bathroom is really in need of a scrubbing.
The first tip that I have is making this little cleaning concoction in a spray bottle which can be used in other rooms as well. Take a 1/4 cup of white vinegar, a couple squeezes of Dawn dish soap, and then fill the rest of the spray bottle with warm water. I will use this on the tub and the shower tiled wall. I also use this on the downstairs shower and the oven! I will wet the shower wall and the tub and then spray this on there and let it sit for a minute or two.
A Mr Clean Magic eraser is my best friend when it comes to cleaning the bathroom tub. After, letting the homemade spray sit I will take the wet magic eraser and scrub the tub and the tile walls.
My other favorite cleaner to use on the tub when it is in major need of a cleaning, The Pink Stuff. I love to use this paste on my sinks and the tub.
I don’t like the look of having all the cleaning bottles in the bathroom. To fix this, I put the cleaner into these glass spray bottles and label them with a chalk label so I can change it if I use the spray bottles for something different. I am going to put a picture and links to the things that I use below.
Another product that I love to use inside my toilet bowls are the Scrubbing Bubble Gel Stamps. These will help to keep your bowl clean with every flush. I love that they help to prevent the rings that you can see forming inside the bowl at times.
For your shower head if you have a lot of dirt and grime on it, if you put some warm water and vinegar in a baggie and take a rubber band to wrap around to keep secure. I will let mine stay on for 30 minutes then I will run the shower head and then wipe it off.
When cleaning my walls and ceiling of all my rooms, I will use my swifter! Instead of putting on the floor pads, I will put on a wet microfiber towel that has warm water and Mr. Clean. It is a lifesaver on time and also so easy to reach all the higher surfaces.
I hope that these products, hacks, and personal tips are useful the next time that you find yourself on Bathroom cleaning duty!
