My porch has been decorated for Halloween since September 29th, but I am very late to posting this. I have to admit that I have been slacking on my blog and I am sorry for that! I am going to try to get better on being more efficient with my posting. I sometimes forget that I am just a human and sometimes it is hard to juggle working full time and my many different side gigs as well.
But onto the far part, the Halloween decorations! The one thing that I absolutely love about my porch, is that it’s a covered porch. This allows me to be able to have more decorations out that might not be made for outside, but at the same time they are protected.
When you look at my glider during Halloween, you will see my little Skeleton Family. There are a big and little skeleton just hanging out on the glider. Then you also get to see that the adult skeleton is hanging onto a leash that belongs to a cute skeleton dog!
On the table I have a floral arrangement that I made last year. The container is from Michael’s and the sunflowers are from Amazon. I put the arrangement together myself, and I will just turn it around so you don’t see the jack o’lantern face during the fall! I keep the regular pumpkin out all Fall but add the Trick or Treat Pumpkin for the month of October.
When you look over to my front door you will see the Mason jar lights that I keep all year long, but I will switch out the flowers according to the time of the year. I have Sunflowers in there for Fall and I am still on the search for something like black roses for the Halloween time.
My front door is always decorated with a wreath, so I have this one hanging up for Halloween. I will not lie it is getting old and has seen it’s day. This was not one that I made but I am thinking of making a new one of my own!
On the windows I have these coverings that I got from Amazon a few years ago, I think they really add to the Halloween feels and the trick or treaters love them!
When you go up and down my stairs, you will find pumpkins, lanterns, and some spooky trees as well. Every year I also put some garland going up and down the railings. A new addition to the porch decorations this year is the hanging body (ah).
Another new addition is the 15 foot spider web. I got this off of Amazon last year after Halloween time for super cheap! I was so amazed at the size of it, but I wish that it has a bigger spider for the web. I am going look into getting some really big ones for next Halloween. I think that the web looks awesome at night when the lights are on at night!
When you walk up the sidewalk and get closer to the house I have a little grave yard on the left and a bigger one on the right. Now since these pictures, the weather has since knocked some of the gates and grave stones over. But, I will fix it before Trick or Treaters come.
I hope that you have enjoyed seeing how I have decorated my porch for Halloween. I will do another post when I switch back over to my Fall/ Thanksgiving decor as well. I hope that you are all having a great week and I will really try to post more on here and give my blog the attention that it deserves. Take care and remember to stay positive!
