Hello all! I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend. For those of you who celebrate, we are approaching Easter this upcoming week. I personally can’t believe that Easter is almost here. I will be bringing you a handful of post for this upcoming Holiday. This first one is a craft that you can do with the kiddos. I did this one with Rebecca who as always is more than willing to be my assistant and get her picture taken. For this craft we once again used foam paper because the kids love it, but construction paper is just fine! This is a nice and simple craft with minimal supplies, who doesn’t love that. If you complete this craft feel free to leave a comment to let me know how it went and what your favorite part was! Happy crafting!
Supplies:
- White, Black, Orange, and Yellow Construction Paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Paper Plate
Steps:
- The first step will be to cut your paper plate in half. Since Rebecca and I both did this craft we each took a half of the plate!
- Next you are going to take your half of the paper plate and cut the edge into a zig-zag pattern.
- Next step is going to be to draw out your chick’s feet for the eggshell
- When you have the feet cut out you are going to glue them to the eggshell
- Then you will draw out your chick and cut that out as well.
- Once it is cut out then you need to glue to the plate.
- Then cut 2 circles with the white paper and 2 smaller circles with the black paper and glue on to your chick.
- Then cut out a small triangle for the nose and glue on to the chick. The craft is complete.
