It Is Stress Awareness Month

Until this year I did not even know that there was a Stress Awareness month. I wanted to make it the center of one of my post this month because we all have stress at times. There can not be some who can stand up and say that they have never been stressed before because that would a lie. There are different levels off stress from mild to extreme.

I will tell you a little about my stress! I have all the levels of stress from the mild to the extreme level. I am what you would call and over thinker, and that causes me to stress all the time. I can’t shut my brain off which is the main issue.

I want to share some of the ways that I will do when I get stressed to kind of bring me back to earth and calm down.

  • Taking a nice hot shower
  • Talking with my friends
  • Reading a book
  • Taking a nap
  • Having a glass of wine
  • Doing a face mask
  • Watching my favorite shows or movies
  • Listening to music
  • Going for a drive
  • Taking Daisy for a walk
  • Working out
  • Writing down what is stressing me out to clear my mind
  • Listening to a meditation

It is currently rain here and ironic because listening to the rain has always been something that will calm me as well. Remember to stay positive everyone!
