Kids Easter Baskets Ideas

We are now getting really close to Easter and I am sorry that I am slacking on getting this specific post out for you all to see. I hope that you are still able to get out there and grab some of these cute gift ideas for the Easter baskets for the kids in your life! I know that we all love getting chocolate, but that is eaten and gone and forgotten about. So, along with the sweet treats it is fun to put some gifts in that the kids will enjoy for awhile and they will get great use out of.

One cute Idea for Baskets is to come up with a theme. Basing the themes on the kid’s interests is the best route to go.

Here some ideas along with non candy items that can be included in the baskets.

  • Sports Theme: Make this basket personalized with some sports gear from their favorite sports team. If they are younger you can include some outside sports equipment like the little bat and ball or a mitt. Another fun item that you can include is a framed picture of their favorite athlete or even a poster.

  • Art Theme: For this basket you can include paints, some canvas, markets, a sketch pad, colored pencils. You can also include a coloring book and crayons. You can buy a ceramic piece for them to be able to paint as well.

  • Girls basket: For this basket you can include some nail polish and some face masks for kids. They have make up that is good for using as play make up. Costume jewelry and dress up items are great for the little girls with the big imagination.

  • Craft Basket: This basket can be filled with supplies for the craft lover. They have bracelet making kits, kits where you can make pillows. A crafting book with a bunch of activities in them.

  • Boys Basket: Slime or putty is a fun activities for boys. Action figures and trucks and cars. For the toddler age your could put in a toy tool set. Nerf guns are always a hit with boys as well.

  • Outside Basket: This basket can be filled with outside activities. Jump ropes, bubbles, chalk, outside paints, a sprinkler. Anything to help make outdoor times more entertaining.

  • The Book lover basket: If the child is really into a specific serious you could include the newest books for them to read. Amazon has a bunch of cute t shirts with sayings about being a book lover.

  • Pool Basket: This would be great for the child who has a pool at home or goes to a pool often. This can have some diving toys, some floating pool toys. A new pair of goggles and new swim towel with something that interests them on it!

  • Show themed basket: A lot of younger kids will have specific shows that they are interested in. This makes an easy theme to have for their basket. If they are younger and you can find toys with the characters on them. Another route you can go is to get a hat or t-shirt with the show on them.
