Who is ready for fall?

Cool breezes, Autumn leaves, beautiful colored Mums decorating houses, and PUMPKIN EVERYTHING! Who agrees with me of Fall being their favorite season? My mom used to tell me that the only reason I loved fall was because my birthday (October 7th) occurs during this season. BUT, that could not be further from the truth!

I am a comfortable cool weather lover, who gets excited to bust out all of her cute boots, sweaters and flannels! I find that I am the least stressed out during the fall, there is just a sense of ease during those months. I am writing this post currently while sitting on my front porch with some music playing, just enjoying the feeling of the gentle breeze hitting my face. I love to sit on my porch and just listen to the trees rustling.

Another plus to Fall in my eyes is the cute home decor! I hands down have the most fall decorations of all other seasons (Christmas does not count since it is not a season… that’s a different story). When walking around my house during fall you will pretty much find some sort of pumpkin themed decor in each room. I am just a fan of the reds, oranges, yellows, and browns that come with the fall decor. I am also an avid candle burner with a huge variety of scents for each season. The house will smell like some sort of pumpkin from the many variations of scents of the candles and the Bath & Body Works hand soaps (you all know what I am talking about with the soaps)!

The activities that are involved with the Fall are another reason that I am so obsessed with the season. I know that times are different during the Covid-19 Pandemic, and I am going to miss some of the staple activities. Everything from having a fire outside on a nice cooler night, Haunted houses, pumpkin picking, camping, hayrides, and so much more!

The one thing that I am going to say and I can just hear all of your gasps now ( especially from my fellow coffee lovers) is that I can not do the Pumpkin Spice or just Pumpkin anything coffees. I have never been a fan of pumpkin anything as far as food and drinks going. I love the smell but can stand the taste. So, I apologize sincerely for not being a complete basic person in the fall.

I am going to be showing you some of my decorations around the house in future posts. I will also be sharing some fall themed recipes that I have tried before and fallen in love with . Also, there will be my fair share of DIY’s that I have stumbled across as well!

I hope that you all are enjoying the last little bit of summer, but I am ready for you FALL!
