My Favorite Workout Programs

I have been doing really well with my working out this year. Yes, I know that we are only into February but I am still really consistent! I am on my second workout program of the year. I have been a proud member of Beachbody for over 3 years now. I will be the first to admit that I told myself that I will not join a workout program, but I am extremely glad that I have! The point of this blog post is not to tell everyone to join. However, I wanted to share some of my favorite programs that are offered. Maybe you are already member and were curious about certain programs you have not yet tried out! But, if you do decide that you want to get these programs a try I will be talking about my coach at the end of the post!

And now on to the Programs!

#mbf:

Muscle Burns Fat was my first program that I completed when I joined Beachbody. This was when the program had recently been added. The unique concept of having everyone working out from home because this was right in the heat of Covid. I am a big of the programs that combine both lifting and cardio. This program is 7 days, but the last day of the week is a recovery workout with stretching out the body. The length of this program is 3 weeks and you will really be motivated by the trainer Megan Davies. Morning Meltdown 100:

I have completed this program 2 times! Although this is one of their longer programs, lasting 100 days, it was so enjoyable. Hands down one of my favorite trainers with Beachbody is Jericho! She is so motivating and just love the energy she brings to all her programs. That is why you will see her again later! There are lifting days, cardio, fight club which will help you learn some different fighting moves,re-vibe which it slows down some, and boot camp which will bring up the pace and intensity. There is a modifier allowing you to bring the intensity down if needed. When you complete the 100 days at the end you are going to feel so accomplished.

Let’s Get Up!:

Alright, I know that you don’t even need to be familiar with Beachbody to know who Shaun T is! This guys has been around for awhile and has been putting out amazing programs like crazy! There are a lot of programs of his that I still want to try, but this one is so fun! This is another dancing workout program of his where he teaches you moves and you build it up to a quick dance combination at the end. You are really working out here, I can testify to that for sure! I would be dripping in the end of these workouts. I am someone that does not have a lot of dance skills and coordination, but I was actually learning the moves and feeling the beat! This program is 4 weeks long with a rest day at the end of each week. I also like that there are 2 days with weights a week as well. The one thing that you will see in pretty much every workout program that I choose is that there are weight days because I love lifting and toning.

4 Weeks For Every Body:

This is one of the newer programs on the Beachbody App. Autumn is another amazing trainer, she is very motivational and will offer some great thoughts while you are working out. Hence the name of the program, the length is 4 weeks long. There are no excuses with this program, it really is made for everyone! They do offer you a modifier in case you need to take the impact out at times. When completing this program, I could not believe how fast it went by! Whenever I am enjoying a program it will fly by. The routines are around 28-30 minutes in length. The format is 5 days of work and 2 days towards the end of each week of rest. I really enjoyed the whole vibe of the whole group they had for the program.

Fire and Flow:

Hands down my number favorite program that I completed so far! I am can not wait until I do this program again. I would have done back to back goes with this program, but I have a few others that I would like to try first! The concept of this program is amazing and spot on! You get a mixture of fast paced more intense day and then slower more stretching and opening your mind and body days! This really is a dynamic duo of trainers! As I stated before, Jericho is one of my favorites, especially during this program! This was the first time that I have done anything by Elise and I was not disappointed. She was able to get me relax and really open my mind and let go of any stresses that I might of had at the time! The program is 4 weeks long and it alternates between the Fire and Flow days. There is a rest day at the end of each week, with workouts lasting around 30 minutes.

Job 1:

I am currently in the last week of this program and this would be great for if you are pretty busy with only a little bit of workout time each day. The workouts are 20 minutes long, but that does not mean that you are not getting a lot from them. I am sweating after 20 minutes and I am really burning those calories. Jennifer really gets you moving consistently the whole workout and spiking that heart rate to get that true workout in. This program is 5 days on with 2 days of rest at the end of the weeks, and is 4 weeks long. You have 3 days with weights and 2 cardio days. I will definitely be using this program again soon!

Meet My Coach:

I met Christin randomly on Instagram, we first bonded over our love for dogs. She is from Texas and she has been an absolute life saver! I wanted to get into better shape after going on a beach vacation and looking back at photos I took while there. Once, I signed up for Beachbody, I made the commitment that I want to lose weight and to become healthier. Christin is always checking in with me and tagging me in her stories to get me motivated for my daily workouts! She always has nothing but kind words and encouragement. There have been a couple times that I have slipped on workouts and she is there to make sure I am doing alright. I am so glad to have met her and to have become friends over these years!
